Celebrate Halloween at the Hastings Museum on Saturday, October 27 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Experience the Cave of Darkness, Boo Vault, and Kreepy Krafts for Kids. Meet a frightening fortune teller, mad scientist and maybe a snake or two! Learn how to cook and eat a bug! Complete a spooky flashlight scavenger hunt and win a prize! Wear a costume and take part in the Halloween Parade and Costume Contest.
A special exhibit displaying scary objects from the museum’s collection will be on hand. Halloween masks, a wicker body basket—possibly used for transporting bodies to a funeral home, medical skeletal specimen of a disarticulated skull, and a mummified cat are just a few of the artifacts.
Regular museum admission is charged, but it is free for museum members. Enter if you dare! This is an event the whole family will enjoy!
