As you’re doing your holiday shopping this season, don’t be surprised if your favorite local merchant asks you to donate $1.00 to the Hastings Museum. From December 1 through December 31, the Hastings Museum Foundation is teaming up with local businesses to celebrate the holidays and raise funds for the Museum. In return for your donation, you will be asked to place your name, or the name of a loved one, on a festive Santa Crane, that will be displayed in the local business. Check the Museum’s website for a complete list of participating businesses.

The museum collections and building are an important asset for the community of Hastings and the surrounding area. With this thought in mind, the Hastings Museum Foundation was incorporated in 1985 to increase awareness of and provide support for the Hastings Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
