Sponsorship Opportunities 2007

We encourage individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations to consider the many sponsorship opportunities that exist with the Hastings Museum. Sponsorship provides an avenue for charitable giving along with increased recognition and involvement with the museum and the communities it serves.

Large-Format Film — $2500 (4 Available)

  • Choose one of the following films:
    • Lost Worlds: Life in the Balance – Dec 5, 2006 - Jun 4, 2007
    • Greece: Secrets of the Past – Mar 6 - Sep 10, 2007
    • Ride Around the World – Jun 5 - Dec 3, 2007
    • Wild Safari: A South African Adventure – Sep 11, 2007 - Mar 4, 2008
  • 6 months exposure; private screening; recognition on all advertising, on-screen, marquee, website, invitations and premiere

Ride ’Em Cowboy Exhibit — $2500

  • Yee Hah! Become a cowboy and learn about ridin’, ropin’ and rustlin’. Relive the days of the Old West and have a grand old time. June 4 - Nov 4, 2007
  • 6 months exposure; recognition on all advertising, on-screen, marquee, website, invitation and at exhibit opening

Special Evening for Underprivileged – $2500

  • Help provide an opportunity for underprivileged children and their families an evening of quality time spent together enjoying the exhibits and large-format film at the museum.

SummerFun Education Program — $2000

  • SummerFun Classes are for children ages 4 to high school with over 14 different week-long classes offered during two separate sessions.
  • 5 months exposure; recognition on all advertising, brochure and application form, on-screen, marquee, website

Kool-Aid Days — $1000

  • In 2006, the museum offered free admission on the Sunday, the third day of the festival, to the exhibits and planetarium, the Nebraska Creations Fair featuring vendors with original Nebraska-made products, kid games, free Kool-Aid, the Kool-Aid Man and much more.

Native American Performing Arts Program — $1000

  • Experience Native American traditions featuring songs and dances, drumming, flute playing and storytelling
  • 1 months exposure; recognition on all advertising, website, invitation

Planetarium Sky Show — $1000 (3 Available)

  • Three different sky shows each year: winter, spring and summer
  • Exposure – duration of show; recognition on all advertising, website, invitation

Traveling Exhibits — $500 (3 Available)

  • Choose one of the following exhibits:
    • Hidden World of Bears – Jan 7 - Mar 3, 2007
    • Understanding Life’s Connection – Mar 18 - May 19, 2007
    • Peregrine Falcon: The Return of an Endangered Species – Mar 25 - May 19, 2007
